Woodland Presbyterian Church offers sports for children in grades junior kindergarten-6th grade
Fall Sport Offerings Season runs August 22nd –November 5th
Junior and Senior Kindergarten-Soccer
1st and 2nd Grade-Flag Football and Soccer
3rd and 4th Grade-Tackle Football, Cheer and Soccer
5th and 6th Grade-Soccer boys (5th only girls)
Winter Sport Offerings
Season runs November 14th -Mid February
Junior and Senior Kindergarten-Basketball
1st-4th Grade-Basketball
5th and 6th Grade- Basketball

Season runs March-May
Junior and Senior Kindergarten-Soccer
1st-6th Grade-Soccer (6th grade girls only)

Junior and Senior Kindergarten-T-ball
1st and 2nd Grade-Baseball
Practice
Most practices will be scheduled on Monday, Tuesday or Thursday from 4:30-7:30
Coaches determine weekly practice time and may cancel at their own discretion
Games
Kindergarten games are Friday nights
Flag Football and Soccer games are Saturdays
Tackle Football and baseball game days may vary
League
All Junior Kindergarten-4th grade teams participate in leagues that require 50% play ESCRA –East Shelby Church Recreation Association PAA-Parochial Athletic Association

Uniforms
Jerseys and/or shorts can be returned after the season for a credit of $10 for jersey or $15 for a complete uniform. Credits can be used toward any church sports registration fee.
ONLY uniforms issued the previous season can be returned
Canceled or Rain Out Games Decision Deadline for Cancellations-
Practice by 3:00pm
Friday Games by 3:00pm
Saturday Games by 8:00am
Coaches should contact their team if practice or games are canceled
If you have NOT heard from the coach, then you should assume that practice or game is ON
Practice cancellations will be decided at the coaches’ discretion unless school or church cancels activities in entirety.
Games are rescheduled by church directors and will be played at the field originally scheduled if possible.
